📋 Description

• Architect End-to-End Solutions • Design and deliver integrated solutions spanning metadata services, client-facing APIs, and multi-platform applications (iOS, Android, Web, FireTV, etc.) • Collaborate with product managers, engineering leads, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and scalable architectures • Ensure seamless integration between backend services and client applications, focusing on performance, resiliency, and user experience • Integrate security best practices and compliance requirements into every layer of the architecture, ensuring safe handling of user data and content • Provide architectural direction across multiple squads and engineering domains (backend, client, API, and data) • Mentor engineers and guide teams through best practices in API design, data flows, and system integration • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, innovation, and technical excellence • Drive SDLC Improvements & Operational Excellence • Partner with squads to optimize delivery pipelines, enhance release practices, and improve engineering velocity • Champion a DevOps-first approach, focusing on observability, automation, and continuous delivery • Work closely with operations and engineering teams to proactively identify and resolve customer-impacting issues

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software architecture or solution design for large-scale, distributed systems • Proven track record delivering cloud-native, microservices-based solutions (GCP, AWS, or Azure) • Strong expertise in API design, data modeling, and service integration • Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift) • Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, Pub/Sub, or equivalent) for high-throughput systems • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, and modern software delivery practices • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to align multiple squads, stakeholders, and product teams • Deep understanding of security best practices in distributed systems, including identity management, encryption, and API security • Strong knowledge of scalability patterns (caching strategies, load balancing, failover, disaster recovery)
