📋 Description

• Localize contracts, agreements, and other legal-related files • Perform full machine translation post-editing (MTPE) • Perform proofreading • Complete onboarding and service-specific tests • Provide separate per-word rates for MTPE and proofreading • Join TransPerfect’s long-term freelancer pool for current and future contract/legal localization projects • Communicate and apply via email only

🎯 Requirements

• Language pair: Simplified Chinese into Portuguese (Brazil) • Services: Full post-editing (MTPE) and/or Proofreading • Native in Portuguese (Brazil) • Relevant experience in legal localization projects • Either 2+ years of professional experience and a language-related degree, or 5+ years of professional experience without a degree • Must complete a subject-specific automotive test and service-specific tests • Contract-related test and MTPE test are required • Proofreading test applies if pursuing proofreading services • Ability to provide separate MTPE and proofreading rates in USD • CV required • Confirmation of availability to complete the test in the following days • Legal/contracts/agreements localization experience details, including years of experience, approximate word counts, end clients, subjects, or document types • Portuguese (Brazil) and Simplified Chinese language proficiency information required • Legal work authorization or residency in Brazil is not explicitly stated
