📋 Description

• Work on contracts, agreements, and other legal-related files • Provide full post-editing (MTPE) and/or proofreading • Join TransPerfect’s international brand team and long-term freelancer pool • Complete onboarding and service-specific tests • Apply for current and future localization projects • Submit separate per-word rates for MTPE and proofreading • Handle legal/contracts/agreements localization projects from Simplified Chinese into Brazilian Portuguese

🎯 Requirements

• Native in Portuguese (Brazil) • Language pair: Simplified Chinese into Portuguese (Brazil) • Experience in legal localization projects • Either 2+ years of professional experience and a language-related degree, or 5+ years of professional experience with no degree required • Must complete a free subject-specific automotive test • Must complete service-specific MTPE and proofreading tests as applicable • Contract-related test and MTPE test are mandatory • Additional certifications increase chances of claiming tasks • Must provide CV, USD rates, test availability, and details of relevant experience • Must answer questions about Portuguese (Brazil) and Simplified Chinese proficiency • Must provide years and rough word counts for localization experience • Must indicate whether they have legal-document localization experience
