📋 Description

• Project management & oversight of Design Houses • Outsourcing management: Coordinate and oversee activities entrusted to our specialized partners (Design Houses): design, fabrication and qualification. • Delivery ownership: Define project plans, track technical milestones and manage performance indicators (cost, schedule, quality). • Technical interface: Ensure smooth communication between external partners and internal teams (engineering, quality, procurement). • Engineering: New Design, Redesign & Obsolescence • New Design: Lead the development of new ASICs to meet future operational needs. • Redesign & Obsolescence: Implement proactive remediation strategies for critical components. • Expertise: Identify and proactively resolve technical or logistical blockers. • Technical Governance (HwEM role) — Guardian of Discipline: Ensure that hardware engineering practices within the work packages (WPs) are consistent with the required level and departmental standards. • PP&T consistency: Ensure the application of processes, practices, tools and technologies defined by the HoD across multiple projects. • DO-254 DAL A certification and rigor: Ensure that all activities strictly comply with DO-254 DAL A for airborne hardware. • Audit & evidence: Participate in drafting certification documentation and prepare audits with authorities.

🎯 Requirements

• You hold a Master's degree (engineering school or equivalent) or higher (PhD) in embedded electronics and have at least 5 years' experience • Experience in technical project management, ideally in semiconductors or embedded electronics • Strong understanding of the ASIC lifecycle and microelectronic design processes • Significant experience and knowledge of DO-254 • Familiarity with electronic component obsolescence management, particularly for ASICs • Knowledge of products in one of our avionics domains (civil and military flight computers, displays) is a plus • Ability to operate in an international context (oral and written English).
