📋 Description

• You build a highly innovative MedTech tool. • You act as the Technical Lead within the team, make architectural decisions, and conduct code reviews. • You design, develop, and maintain backend services and implement APIs. • You collaborate with frontend developers to build end-to-end web applications. • You take responsibility for cloud deployment, monitoring, and the reliability of services. • You ensure code quality, testing, documentation, and DevOps best practices. • You brainstorm with product managers and R&D engineers about the product roadmap.

🎯 Requirements

• You are already registered for tax purposes in Germany. • At least 5 years of experience in a permanent position in backend or full-stack development. • Expert-level knowledge of Python and FastAPI. • Experience developing scalable RESTful APIs. • Deep understanding of relational databases and data modeling (e.g., PostgreSQL). • Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure as code (Terraform). • Experience with containers (Docker) and CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). • Interest in leading a small engineering team technically. • Experience with Kubernetes, WebSockets, identity providers (OAuth 2.0), and monitoring (Grafana). • Basic knowledge of frontend technologies such as React and TypeScript. • Fluent in English and at least A2-level German. • You have been employed with the same employer for at least 3 years. • Ideally has previous experience in MedTech or another highly regulated industry.
