📋 Description

• Install and commission, maintain, and qualify assigned products in the Freiburg region • Perform defined standard repairs and replace components and consumables • Technically and organizationally prepare and carry out assigned service visits, taking commercial considerations into account • Document service visits and promptly escalate technical deviations, scheduling risks, and exceptional service cases • Provide customers with technical and application support for standardized service and maintenance questions • Identify service opportunities, including service contracts, qualifications, upgrades, and replacement needs • Work with support teams and manufacturing sites on technical coordination and escalations • Maintain inventory of materials and measuring equipment • Support trade fairs and exhibitions • Work operationally with Technical Team Leaders on technical coordination and more complex escalations

🎯 Requirements

• Completed three- to three-and-a-half-year technical vocational training, preferably in electronics, mechatronics, medical technology, or a comparable technical field • Qualified electrical specialist, or willing to obtain the required qualification for the assigned area of work • At least two years of practical professional experience in a technical environment, ideally in maintenance, installation, or technical service • Interest in analytical systems and in continuously working with new products and technologies • Strong analytical thinking to address standardized technical questions and isolate known failure modes • Strong teamworking skills, a positive attitude, and reliable collaboration within the service team • Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently within clearly defined processes and priorities • High willingness to travel throughout Germany and, when required, within the EMEA region • Good command of German and English • Strong verbal and written communication skills when interacting with customers and within the Thermo Fisher matrix organization • Good knowledge of the applicable computer hardware and software • Class B driving license • Willingness to pursue continuous training on assigned products and technologies
