📋 Description

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Field Service Engineers • Plan and coordinate field service activities, resource allocation, and customer support • Monitor operational performance, productivity, and KPIs • Provide technical guidance and escalation support for complex electron microscopy installations, maintenance, and repairs • Build and maintain customer relationships and ensure satisfaction • Collaborate with Sales, Applications, Technical Support, and Operations teams • Ensure compliance with quality systems, safety requirements, and regulatory standards • Support workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service efficiency • Promote continuous learning, collaboration, accountability, and customer focus

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced Degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of technical field service experience • Degree in Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering, Physics, or another related technical discipline • Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience managing technical service teams • Experience supporting electron microscopy or other advanced analytical or scientific instrumentation is highly desirable • Expertise in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing complex electromechanical systems • Ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service outcomes • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Experience coaching, developing, and motivating technical teams • Experience using service management systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office applications • Knowledge of quality management systems, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements • Experience managing service performance through KPIs and driving continuous improvement initiatives • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50% • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) with assistance and perform field-based service activities
