📋 Description

• Coordinate assessment and recommendation of vendor hardware/software solutions; lead installation and backup recovery processes • Lead capacity planning and budget forecasting for infrastructure needs • Serve as a technical lead within the Core Technology Group and other IT domains • Build and propose innovative technology solutions using emerging tools and platforms; present project proposals to IT leadership • Manage complex IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals • Provide specialized support for systems, including troubleshooting, research, and handling outstanding customer requirements • Offer consulting and application support to other IT teams and initiatives • Mentor and guide junior team members • Coordinate and improve data center infrastructure, ensuring compliance with SOPs and internal standards • Lead operations for the Regional Data Warehouse (RDW) environment, ensuring efficient performance and reliability • Manage system performance, backups, disaster recovery, user access, and security protocols • Collaborate with stakeholders for system upgrades and maintenance planning

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification • Previous experience comparable to 8+ years • Extensive knowledge in a minimum of three: Windows/Linux Servers, Data Centers, Storage, Virtualization, Messaging, Citrix, Cloud platforms, Global Operations • Robust project management and communication expertise • Proven ability to coach and mentor team members • Subject Matter Expert in system administration and infrastructure management • Proficient in troubleshooting across Windows, Linux, and storage environments • Knowledge of network protocols, security (TCP/IP, firewalls), monitoring tools, SIEM systems, VoIP, and wireless technologies • Must-Have skills: Windows/Linux server administration; Data center and RDW operations; Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V); Storage (SAN/NAS); Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP); Backup, disaster recovery, and performance monitoring; Network protocols, firewalls, SIEM; Project coordination and team supervision; Troubleshooting across multiple platforms • Good-to-have skills: Citrix, VoIP, wireless tech; Emerging tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform); Collaborator involvement and documentation; Consulting and mentoring experience • Working hours: India: 05:30 PM to 02:30 AM IST; Philippines: 08:00 PM to 05:00 AM PST
