📋 Description

• Provide subject matter expertise (SME) for structural design and engineering of marine infrastructure projects • Conduct structural analysis, modeling, and design of marine and waterfront structures • Support project teams with technical input during all project phases • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and sustainable solutions • Assist in preparing technical proposals, cost estimates, and project schedules • Lead and review structural calculations, technical drawings, and specifications • Mentor and train junior engineers • Engage with clients and stakeholders to present design concepts and project updates • Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites

🎯 Requirements

• At least 10 years (15+ years preferred) of direct engineering experience in marine structural engineering • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software, such as SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, or LARSA • Strong understanding of materials used in marine environments, including steel, concrete, timber, and composites • Experience in wave, current, and load modeling as applied to marine structures • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with cross-functional teams • Business development acumen, with experience supporting proposal writing, client presentations, and project bids • Regular field work and overnight travel • Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers • Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel
