📋 Description

• Provide ongoing coaching support and actionable advice on project management skills, communication, and professionalism • Address and remediate talent performance issues through one-on-one coaching and curated resources • Investigate talent’s past performance to determine network status • Review interview recordings for compliance with platform terms and rules • Help design and execute live webinars and group coaching sessions • Evaluate and prioritize inbound coaching requests and select the appropriate coaching method • Document coaching activities to measure impact and scale programs in an ROI-positive manner • Monitor processes and identify opportunities to improve Talent Coaching operations • Onboard and integrate into Toptal • Learn the talent journey, coaching platforms, systems, team structures, goals, and processes • Shadow coaching conversations and provide feedback via Zoom, email, and Slack • Provide front-line coaching, specialized cross-functional support, interview preparation, and coaching-request prioritization • Curate and enhance resources for talent • Provide coaching support for complex productivity issues • Act as a subject matter expert on the Talent Coaching role

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree is required • 3+ years of experience in performance management, in-house coaching, or HR business partner roles • Experience working with technical talent or understanding technical skill sets is a bonus • Customer-centric approach and advocacy for talent • Exceptional communication skills and outstanding video chat, Slack, and email etiquette • Ability to handle feedback sessions objectively and steer talent toward productive action • Action-oriented coaching style and ability to distill feedback into clear, actionable plans • Ability to make decisions with limited data while aligning with team goals and priorities • Resourcefulness and ability to thrive in a distributed workforce • Ability to adapt quickly to evolving processes and priorities • Passion for Toptal’s mission and advocacy for market change • Commitment to continuous improvement and openness to challenging feedback • Must be a world-class individual contributor
