📋 Description

• Drives the development and implementation of proactive policy strategies • Translate emerging policy trends into actionable insights and recommendations • Designs and leads implementation of strategic plans to address policy threats and opportunities • Develops Travere Therapeutics’ position on major issues by federal and state lawmakers • Monitor and analyze federal and state legislative, regulatory, and policy developments • Prepare meeting materials, policy briefs, and internal strategy documents • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with external stakeholders • Aligns direction and prioritization for the organization’s policy activities • Collaborates closely with Corporate Affairs colleagues and internal stakeholders • Establishes strategic goals, success metrics, and operational priorities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Administration, or related discipline • Advanced degree a plus • Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible experience in government affairs, health policy, or pharmaceutical policy • Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and written communication skills • Demonstrated experience in rare disease and/or the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry
