📋 Description

• Own and manage the end-to-end functional design for billing processes within Salesforce Billing • Design and support scalable billing models for subscription, usage-based, and hybrid monetization structures • Define invoice generation logic, proration rules, credit/debit adjustments, and billing schedules • Support the full quote-to-cash lifecycle from CPQ through Billing to Revenue • Define functional flows for contract amendments, renewals, cancellations, and mid-cycle changes • Coordinate and validate data flows between Salesforce Billing and downstream ERPs, revenue recognition platforms, tax engines, payment gateways, and entitlement platforms • Partner with integration teams on API-based, event-driven, and batch-processing solutions • Convert business requirements into detailed user stories and testable acceptance criteria using Jira and Confluence • Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and functional clarification with Product Owners and Engineering teams • Bridge Finance, Revenue Operations, Engineering, and Solution Architecture across multiple time zones • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support for invoicing discrepancies, payment failures, and system synchronization issues • Establish and enforce billing configuration best practices, reusable patterns, financial policies, audit requirements, and revenue controls

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field • 6+ years of experience within the Salesforce ecosystem, with a strong, dedicated focus on Salesforce Billing • Deep understanding of quote-to-cash processes, subscription billing, usage-based billing, invoicing, and financial reconciliation • Proven experience collaborating with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones • Hands-on experience working in Agile environments using Jira and Confluence • Preferred: Experience integrating Salesforce Billing with enterprise ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle • Preferred: Exposure to automated revenue recognition systems (RevRec platforms) • Preferred: Experience with specialized tax engines, payment gateways, and financial compliance systems • Preferred: Background operating in high-volume, enterprise-level billing environments
