📋 Description

• Own and manage the end-to-end functional design for billing processes within Salesforce Billing. • Design and support scalable billing models for subscription, usage-based, and hybrid monetization structures. • Define invoice generation logic, proration rules, credit/debit adjustments, and billing schedules while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and financial controls. • Support the full quote-to-cash lifecycle (CPQ to Billing to Revenue), defining functional flows for contract amendments, renewals, cancellations, and mid-cycle changes. • Coordinate and validate data flows between Salesforce Billing and downstream systems including ERPs, revenue recognition platforms, tax engines, payment gateways, and entitlement platforms. • Partner with integration teams on API-based, event-driven, and batch processing solutions to ensure financial reconciliation and data consistency. • Convert high-level epics and business requirements into detailed user stories with clear, testable acceptance criteria using Jira and Confluence. • Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and functional clarification throughout delivery cycles alongside Product Owners and Engineering teams. • Act as the key functional bridge between Finance, Revenue Operations, Engineering, and Solution Architecture across multiple time zones. • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support, troubleshooting invoicing discrepancies, payment failures, and system synchronization issues to continuously optimize billing performance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. • 6+ years of experience within the Salesforce ecosystem, with a strong, dedicated focus on Salesforce Billing. • Deep understanding of quote-to-cash processes, subscription billing, usage-based billing, invoicing, and financial reconciliation. • Proven experience collaborating with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones. • Hands-on experience working in Agile environments using Jira and Confluence. • Experience integrating Salesforce Billing with enterprise ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). • Exposure to automated revenue recognition systems (RevRec platforms). • Experience with specialized tax engines, payment gateways, and financial compliance systems. • Background operating in high-volume, enterprise-level billing environments.
