âą Partner directly with Agents to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities. âą Support prospecting efforts, pipeline development, and deal strategy across assigned geography. âą Assist in enterprise and complex opportunities including RFPs, Freight Projects, Managed Transportation opportunities, and strategic account growth. âą Drive expansion within existing accounts, focusing on increased share of wallet and mode diversification. âą Build strong working relationships with Agents, acting as a go-to resource for business development support. âą Help Agents create and execute growth plans aligned to their individual business goals. âą Support business reviews to identify opportunities for growth, retention, and improvement. âą Increase engagement across the Agent network within assigned region. âą Act as a conduit between Agents and internal teams including Pricing, Advanced Services, Contracts, and Admin. âą Ensure Agents have access to the right tools, data, and support to win and grow business. âą Collaborate with Sales Operations and Marketing to support sales materials, reporting, business reviews, and insights. âą Maintain awareness of market trends, capacity conditions, and competitive dynamics. âą Translate market insights into actionable opportunities for Agents âą Identify gaps or barriers to growth and help navigate solutions âą Assist with identifying and engaging potential new Agents âą Support recruiting efforts when applicable to drive long-term network growth âą Participate in special projects and handle all other assigned duties as required.
âą Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain âą Experience in business development, sales, or account growth preferred âą Strong communication and relationship-building skills across diverse audiences âą Ability to influence without direct authority and work cross-functionally âą Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously âą Comfortable working in a remote environment with travel (up to ~50%) âą Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) âą Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive results âą Western half of the United States domiciled candidates preferred
