📋 Description

• Own the fraud side of Puzzleplay’s user segmentation system, combining fraud and activity signals to inform revenue-share decisions. • Regularly revisit segmentation signals as fraud patterns change. • Review, add, remove, and refine fraud signals, including IP spoofing, VPN use, and unusual play patterns. • Monitor fraud-related user segments and evaluate category performance over time. • Collaborate with product and data colleagues on market-specific fraud verification methods. • Investigate users flagged for manual review, including ambiguous cases in the Tremendous queue. • Improve the manual review process. • Identify signal gaps and recommend third-party tools for the product roadmap.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience using data to investigate fraud and shape detection or prevention decisions, not just working alongside a fraud team. • Experience designing or improving fraud signals, user segments or review processes, with an interest in how those decisions change as tactics evolve. • Ability to work with product and other teams to turn analysis into operational fraud controls.
