📋 Description

• Lead aspects of the accounting function within the client and provide Shared Services to brands across their network. • Own month-end and year-end close processes for assigned entities, ensuring timely, accurate, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting. • Review and approve journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, recurring close entries, and financial results prepared by the accounting team. • Oversee general ledger and balance sheet integrity across multiple legal entities, including fixed assets, accruals, cash and credit card reconciliations, amortization, depreciation, and key P&L drivers. • Perform variance analysis and explain financial results to leadership. • Lead intercompany accounting, reconciliations, settlements, and issue resolution across global entities. • Develop and maintain short- and long-term cash forecasts with FP&A and Client Finance. • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, typically with 2+ direct reports. • Collaborate with FP&A, Client Finance, In-Brand Finance, and Shared Services teams. • Maintain internal controls, enforce accounting policies and procedures, and support audits, tax, and statutory reporting. • Lead process improvement and automation initiatives across the accounting technology stack. • Support network-wide reporting requirements and corporate deadlines.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. • CPA (or equivalent) preferred. • 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience. • Minimum of 2 years of experience directly managing an accounting team. • Previous experience with Consolidations and Intercompany eliminations. • Strong technical accounting skills with deep knowledge of GAAP, FASB, and SEC accounting and disclosure requirements, including proficiency in researching accounting literature. • Proven ability to reconcile accounts and perform thorough GL analysis. • Advanced Excel skills required (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables). • Experience with large ERP and Accounting Software preferred (e.g., Maconomy, NetSuite, Intacct, SAP, Oracle). • Highly organized and motivated self-starter with the ability to set priorities, multi-task, and meet critical deadlines while maintaining strict attention to detail. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams. • Located in Latam. • Fluent English level.
