📋 Description

• Provide functional leadership for a pod of 4–5 Forward Deployed Product Managers embedded across client implementations • Set operating standards for requirements, prototypes, and workflow decisions across active deployments • Act as the escalation point between the FDPM pod, Technical Account Managers, implementation engineering, and core product • Turn recurring deployment patterns into a shared playbook and feed learnings back into the core product • Set and enforce quality standards for requirements, prototypes, and documentation • Review and sanity-check briefs and workflows before they reach clients or engineering • Unblock FDPMs on complex or contested requirements • Build and maintain templates, workflow patterns, and prompting approaches • Coordinate staffing and workload across active deployments and flag capacity gaps to the Director of Product • Step into active client deployments when stakes are high or team members are unavailable • Report pod-wide progress, metrics, and operational blockers to product and delivery leadership • This is functional leadership; the role is not a reporting-line manager, as people management sits with the Director of Product

🎯 Requirements

• Strong balance of product mindset and hands-on execution • Skilled at spotting recurring trends across distinct client contexts and translating them into scalable, generalized solutions • Hands-on experience with modern AI tools, workflow design, prompting, and rapid prototyping • Ability to critically review others' technical output • Ability to shift between high-level pod strategy and granular execution within a single deployment • Ability to build practical structure and standards and drive peer adoption • High ownership, strong judgment with incomplete information, and a decisive bias to action • Ability to judge when to step in and when to step back to let an FDPM own the outcome • Excellent cross-functional communication across technical, non-technical, client-facing, and executive audiences • Experience as a Forward Deployed PM, Solutions Consultant, Implementation Lead, or Technical Services Lead within SaaS, AI, or startup environments • Proven track record leading initiatives, workstreams, or informal teams in fast-paced, client-facing settings • Direct people management is not required • Must be currently based in Latin America
