📋 Description

• Manage and monitor accounts payable, including reviewing purchase requests, invoices, and workflow approvals • Ensure timely and accurate payment processing and compliance with company policies and vendor agreements • Resolve accounts payable discrepancies and coordinate with internal teams • Record and reconcile payroll transactions for employees and contractors • Collaborate with HR to maintain accurate employee payroll data • Manage payroll tax calculations and filings in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations • Manage payroll-related accruals, including PTO, bonuses, and contractor expenses • Monitor and track expenses across multiple platforms and reconcile accrual accounts • Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations for accounts related to AP, payroll, and accruals • Conduct flux analysis and explain significant variations in financial performance • Meet month-end close deadlines and deliver accurate financial reports • Collaborate with HR, Procurement, and Operations to resolve financial matters and support accurate reporting • Provide timely financial information to internal stakeholders • Identify process enhancements and implement best practices and automation in AP, payroll, and financial reporting

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts payable, payroll processing, and month-end close • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes • Experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and payroll platforms • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams • Experience with multi-entity or international payroll processing • Knowledge of process automation tools and software • Experience in flux analysis and financial forecasting • Working hours: 9 am–5 pm PST • CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred
