📋 Description

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations for the small business users. • Prepare monthly financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets. • Identify opportunities to streamline bookkeeping processes, improve efficiency, and enhance internal controls. • Stay current with accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance with all reporting requirements. • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management, contributing financial expertise and insights to support strategic decision-making.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, with a focus on general ledger maintenance and financial reporting. • Proficiency in common bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and excitement to learn the company’s bookkeeping software. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping. • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team environment. • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
