📋 Description

• Own the department's CI/CD and QA platforms end to end, from hardware and infrastructure through CI runners, build and test environments, and developer experience • Be accountable for platform reliability, quality, scalability, and cost • Analyse CI fleet and service usage to make data-driven capacity, sizing, and performance decisions • Improve and automate tools used to build, test, and ship, removing recurring manual work such as flaky tests • Contribute to platform architecture with engineering teams • Maintain service health with monitoring and runbooks • Write alerts into the existing company observability tenant • Deploy new services following best practices • Support developer requests and turn recurring requests into self-service • Manage incidents end-to-end, including diagnosis, mitigation, and post-mortems • Deliver infrastructure as code through merge-request reviews • Write technical documentation for engineers across teams • Delegate tasks to AI agents and review their output

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level infrastructure / SRE experience with ownership of production services • Linux systems administration on bare metal and VMs • Kubernetes in production, including running workloads and clusters, upgrades, and GitOps delivery • Infrastructure as code using Ansible and Terraform / Terragrunt • Production experience with GitLab CI and CI runners • Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics and Grafana, including PromQL • Technical writing for engineering audiences • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Advanced use of AI engineering assistants such as Claude and Codex • Advanced written and spoken English • SLO and burn-rate alerting design • MicroVM isolation using Kata Containers, Firecracker, or gVisor • Public Cloud experience, including cost optimisation • Self-hosted monitoring systems under load • Python or Go for tooling • GitLab administration
