📋 Description

• Build tooling, golden paths, and self-service abstractions that enable product teams to move quickly • Engineer the infrastructure layer rather than only operating clusters • Develop infrastructure-as-code repositories with typed component resources, factories, and multi-environment stacks • Build and maintain the EKS platform, including Karpenter autoscaling and GitOps delivery • Configure CI/CD pipelines and release automation • Create developer-experience tooling and AI-driven development workflows • Implement observability, network and edge security, and SOC 1/SOC 2 evidence automations • Design and support cloud infrastructure, databases, event-driven systems, APIs, Kubernetes platforms, and security controls

🎯 Requirements

• Strong knowledge of AWS services • Strong JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js skills • Solid understanding of parallel programming • Deep PostgreSQL and ORM optimization skills, including Prisma and Slonik • Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as Redis, DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch • Strong system design and microservice architecture knowledge • Experience with message brokers • Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK, or similar • Experience building RESTful APIs • Production Kubernetes experience, ideally EKS • Familiarity with vendor-agnostic observability standards and tooling • Knowledge of network segmentation, including VPCs, subnetting, security groups, firewall configuration, and DNS • Knowledge of edge and network security, including CloudFront, WAF, and ACM certificates • Experience configuring pipelines, ideally GitHub Actions • Strong AI-driven development skills using Claude, Codex, Cursor, or similar tools • Nice to have: GraphQL or gRPC • Nice to have: GitOps with ArgoCD, Kargo, and Helm • Nice to have: AWS, CNCF, or Linux Foundation certifications • Nice to have: Security tooling and SOC 1/SOC 2 compliance frameworks • Nice to have: SRE and reliability practices • Nice to have: FinOps and cost management • Nice to have: Compliance automation
