📋 Description

• Lead high-impact work advocacy, policy, and organizational strategy • Leading FPA’s national strategy and advocacy agenda • Monitoring and responding to federal and state policy developments affecting fertility care • Developing policy positions, issue briefs, and model legislation • Building and mobilizing a national network of advocates and members • Leading rapid-response advocacy initiatives and coalition-building efforts • Overseeing communications strategy, messaging, and public engagement • Planning and executing Advocacy Days, trainings, and stakeholder events • Directing political fundraising strategy and ensuring regulatory compliance • Overseeing organization operations, budgeting, and financial reporting

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in public policy, government affairs, advocacy, or related fields • Strong background in healthcare policy; reproductive or women’s health experience preferred • Proven success in legislative strategy, grassroots mobilization, and coalition building • Deep understanding of state and federal legislative and regulatory processes • Exceptional written and verbal communication and public speaking skills • Demonstrated ability to develop strategy, manage operations, and oversee budgets • Politically savvy, with credibility among policymakers and advocacy stakeholders • Strong strategic thinker with ability to anticipate policy trends and respond quickly • Skilled coalition builder who can align diverse stakeholders around shared goals • Mission-driven leader committed to expanding access to fertility care.
