📋 Description

• Contribute to the development of the Bachelor's degree program in Intelligent Systems and Applied Computing • Support student recruitment • Deliver live, English-language teaching sessions on programming, software engineering, machine learning, agentic AI, and data engineering • Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and support for project and research work • Design and assess portfolio assessments, examinations, and bachelor's theses • Conduct practice-oriented research and knowledge-transfer projects in software engineering, artificial intelligence, and data engineering • Collaborate with industry and research institutions • Initiate research collaborations and secure third-party funding • Publish research findings in academic journals and present them at relevant conferences • Represent the university at specialist presentations and industry events • Contribute to research-related product development, start-up ventures, and patent applications • Participate in academic self-governance and the further development of degree programs • Participate in international collaborations • As part of the appointment procedure, you may be asked to deliver a teaching session, present a research project outline, and complete at least one interview

🎯 Requirements

• A completed university degree • Demonstrated pedagogical and didactic aptitude through practical experience • Particular aptitude for advanced independent scholarly work, generally demonstrated by an above-average doctorate in computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence, or a related field • At least five years of professional experience, including at least three years outside the higher education sector • Professional experience in software development, artificial intelligence, or data engineering roles in industry is preferred • Ability and willingness to teach and conduct research and knowledge-transfer activities in English • Willingness to develop and further strengthen higher education teaching skills, particularly in generative AI-supported teaching • Motivation to develop and apply innovative teaching formats in software engineering and artificial intelligence education • Willingness to collaborate across the fields of applied computing and AI, digital business transformation, and immersive design • Demonstrated experience in industry or research projects related to software engineering, artificial intelligence, and data-driven applications • Experience in international contexts or motivation to integrate international software, AI, and technology projects into teaching and research • Willingness to actively help shape the foundation and growth of a new university • Clearly defined research focus in software engineering, artificial intelligence, or data engineering • Understanding of knowledge and technology transfer between academia, industry, and society • Application documents must be submitted in English • Foreign educational qualifications require proof of equivalence
