📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end monthly, quarterly and annual close process across all Group entities • Review consolidated management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules • Handle complex accounting matters and technical accounting assessments • Maintain and improve Group accounting policies, close procedures and financial control frameworks • Ensure integrity of general ledgers and consistency of accounting practices across entities • Partner with FP&A on actuals, accruals and financial information for forecasting and management reporting • Lead core finance operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, treasury operations and intercompany accounting • Establish operating processes, controls, SLAs and ownership across Finance • Drive working-capital management, automation and scalable process improvements • Own statutory accounting and audit processes, coordinating with auditors and local finance/accounting partners • Oversee corporate tax, GST/VAT and other statutory compliance across jurisdictions • Manage compliance calendars, filings and statutory obligations • Strengthen financial governance and documentation • Lead, coach and develop the finance operations and accounting team • Build processes enabling the team to operate independently and efficiently • Lead finance process improvement, automation, systems and workflow initiatives • Partner with Product, Operations, Commercial and other teams on cross-functional finance issues • Lead finance integration workstreams for acquired businesses • Support financial due diligence and transaction-related finance activities • Transition acquired entities onto Group accounting policies, systems and control frameworks • Resolve legacy accounting, reconciliation and operational issues from acquisitions

🎯 Requirements

• Approximately 10–12+ years of progressive finance experience • Significant experience in financial control, accounting and finance operations • Qualified accountant or equivalent professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent) strongly preferred • Strong technical accounting foundation and ability to independently resolve accounting issues • Experience owning month-end close, financial reporting, audit and statutory compliance across multiple entities • Experience managing and developing finance teams • Experience working in a multi-country or international environment • Strong understanding of AP, AR, billing, collections, treasury operations and working-capital management • Experience improving financial controls and designing scalable finance processes • Strong systems mindset with experience implementing automation and process improvements
