📋 Description

• Serve as the subject matter authority on Verkada's full product suite and articulate its value to customers • Act as a trusted advisor, overcome technical objections, and secure technical wins • Partner with field account executives to expand Verkada's footprint among Fortune 500 companies • Interface directly with customers and partners throughout the sales process • Assist with local compliance and customer deployment design • Provide technical assistance to territory account representatives • Build the region and enable local partners • Present Verkada solutions to C-level executives, loss prevention managers, and IT directors • Develop territory strategy with Account Executives and the Head of UKI • Design solutions involving network security, bandwidth, physical security products, cloud security RFPs/documents, and LTE deployments • Attend and present at strategic conferences and provide industry thought leadership • Train and educate partners, customers, and internal employees on Verkada products • Write white papers and knowledge base articles about Verkada products, features, and integrations • Travel regularly, estimated at more than 50% of the time, for business operations, customer and partner engagements, and team collaboration

🎯 Requirements

• Based in Dublin or ready to relocate • Fluent in English • Outstanding written and verbal English and Finnish communication skills • 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer • Proven track record of working with Fortune 500 companies • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information and Computer Technology, Networking, or IT Security from an accredited university • Strong networking background, including HTTPS/SSL, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT devices, DHCP servers, firewalls, and software systems • Industry certifications ideally including AWS, CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, MCSE, CEH, Security+, A+, Network+, Microsoft Azure, CISSP, or CSP • Experience with APIs, Python, and other coding languages is a plus • Experience with Linux systems is ideal but not a requirement • Previous startup experience is ideal but not a requirement • Willingness and ability to travel more than 50% of the time, domestically and internationally • Comfortable working independently and learning quickly
