📋 Description

• Partner with the brand developer, sourcing developer, and vendor on product industrialization through physical and virtual sampling at all development stages, including innovation and concept • Ensure products meet brand standards for safety, fit, functionality, performance, quality, and cost while applying risk management principles • Manage the handover from development to production and ensure products are production-ready • Ensure technical specifications are accurate and complete, pre-production risks are resolved, and critical points of attention are communicated • Independently manage pre-production and re-allocation sample approvals locally • Prepare for and participate in Brand Development, Collab, CKO, and Innovation Trips • Partner with brands and cross-functional teams on standardized processes across brands and regions • Manage vendor performance and drive continuous improvement through training, sample room assessment, and TVCP/CFT calibration protocols • Support sourcing strategy by onboarding new vendors and building existing vendor capabilities • Provide technical expertise and support to cross-functional teams, vendors, and brands • Manage stakeholder issues proactively • Support product innovation trials and complex collaborations • Partner with brands on construction, sizing, grading, and block projects • Validate pattern overlays and samples before brand submission; approve patterns ahead of sample making as required • Review virtual and physical samples, provide comments, and update forms and systems • Partner with brands on construction toolboxes, construction manuals, and SOP updates • Manage Tech Pack discrepancies and drive process improvement • Prepare, support onsite, and follow up for brand trips • Allocate risk to orders and focus on high-risk styles according to RBM guidance • Participate in Tech Pack handover and Risk Analysis handoff meetings • Manage rain room testing and follow up for Futurelight, Gore-Tex, GB testing, and other testing as required • Onboard new vendors and brands to existing vendors; support vendor capability growth • Drive continuous improvement and process standardization through vendor, brand, and cross-region training • Support TVCP and RBM programs, including module creation, training, input, and ongoing calibration • Attend Pre-Production and RAM Meetings as required • Travel frequently to factories • Participate in continuous learning, knowledge transfer, calibration, and projects

🎯 Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of product development through production • Proficient pattern making, including hands-on experience in flat pattern and draping • Proficient in apparel sizing and pattern grading • Working knowledge of computerized pattern systems such as Gerber • Working knowledge of PLM systems such as Flex • Working knowledge of 3D systems such as Browzwear • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator • Proficient in live model and body form fitting • Knowledge of garment construction standards and engineering • Knowledge of raw material properties • Knowledge of wet processing, including garment washing and dyeing • Knowledge of garment testing and manufacturing methods • Ability to interpret design intent and offer alternative solutions • Ability to work independently and proactively • English and local language • At least 5 years relevant working experience in a similar role
