📋 Description

• Build and optimize analytical and dimensional data models using dbt/SQL, following development best practices and governance standards • Ensure data governance, quality, documentation, automated testing, scalability, and business impact • Participate in discussions with business teams to understand requirements and business rules • Work closely with software engineers to understand the structure, refresh frequency, limitations, business context, and technical characteristics of data sources • Implement data quality tests and monitor pipelines to ensure data availability, performance, and integrity across the domain • Actively participate in code reviews and help promote engineering best practices across the data team • Support the data team in understanding the data platform and applying best practices • Contribute to the development of Asaas's data platform

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced SQL skills focused on data transformation and modeling • Professional experience with dbt or similar transformation tools, with a focus on modularity, automated testing, and documentation • Experience with analytical and dimensional data modeling, including star schemas, fact tables, dimensions, and OBTs • Experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes and analytical pipelines • Experience with code version control using Git/GitHub • Experience with data transformation, standardization, and documentation projects • Ability to solve technical and business problems from a systemic perspective, translating business rules into reliable data models • Familiarity with agile methodologies • Basic knowledge of Python • Completed or ongoing degree in Data Analytics/Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field • Preferred: Experience with Generative AI tools • Preferred: Experience with the modern Analytics ecosystem, Databricks, or cloud data platforms, as well as familiarity with Airflow • Preferred: Experience in financial institutions, ERP systems, or SaaS • Preferred: Experience modeling financial metrics or digital product journeys
