📋 Description

• Monitor, triage, and enrich low-, medium-, and high-complexity security alerts generated by the SIEM • Analyze logs from ZTNA, EDR/XDR, cloud environments, databases, DLP, WAF, and CSPM • Conduct detailed analyses of security alerts and events, correlating multiple indicators before concluding investigations • Investigate and respond to cyber incidents, proposing corrective and preventive actions • Manage ticket workflows, ensuring proper logging, tracking, and escalation when necessary • Develop, review, and improve playbooks, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) • Provide structured feedback to Detection Engineering on required use cases and rule tuning • Identify monitoring gaps and propose new SIEM use cases based on MITRE ATT&CK, relevant TTPs, critical assets, and emerging threats • Contribute to Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) and Threat Hunting activities • Drive continuous SOC improvement through automation and process optimization • Produce technical and management reports on security status and handled incidents • Support compliance with PCI DSS, ISO 27001, Brazil’s LGPD, and BACEN regulations • Support internal audits by providing evidence and technical documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience in SOC operations, alert triage, and incident response • Practical proficiency with SIEM platforms, including query creation, alert analysis, and event correlation • Knowledge of EDR/XDR, ZTNA, DLP, WAF, and CSPM • Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework as applied to detection and investigation • Regulatory knowledge of PCI DSS, ISO 27001, Brazil’s LGPD, and BACEN requirements • Ability to produce technical documentation and reports • Analytical and detail-oriented profile, with the ability to examine security events in depth, challenge hypotheses, and support conclusions with concrete evidence • Ability to suggest and structure monitoring use cases by translating suspicious behavior into identified threats and actionable SIEM detection rules • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security or a related field — a plus • Experience with SOAR and playbook automation — a plus • Experience with PCI DSS and ISO 27001 certification processes — a plus • Security+, CySA+, CSA, or equivalent certifications — a plus • Experience securing Azure, GCP, or Oracle cloud environments — a plus • Availability to work 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday • Availability for the afternoon/evening shift, from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. • Availability for weekend on-call duty, working 1 weekend followed by 2 weekends off
