📋 Description

• Serve as FinOps Lead for cloud product deployment projects, services, and R&D • Provide financial support for budget reconciliation, variance reporting, and research against budgets/forecasts • Assist with financial support during financial gap analysis • Lead the monthly close process and journal entries • Analyze variances between actuals and forecast/budget to identify trends • Deliver high-quality analysis independently using spreadsheets and quantitative tools such as MS Power BI • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends and anomalies indicating cost-control weaknesses or potential risks • Partner with engineering and finance to understand cloud cost analytics needs • Identify high-impact opportunities to improve the chargeback process and implement analytical solutions • Develop and maintain automated chargeback workflows to streamline processes and improve efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, accounting, cost management & data analytics • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field • Strong math skills or a background in finance, analytics, statistics, and ability to deal with anomalies • Understanding or exposure to Cloud Cost management and best practices, including showback and chargeback • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including manipulating data extracts using Excel dynamic and logical formulas • Data science experience with Tableau, Power Query, or Power BI is a plus • Exposure to Apptio Cloudability tool and SAP is a plus • Capacity to manage multiple priorities • Understanding of and adherence to Accounting policies and SOX controls
