• As a Key Account Manager (m/f/d), you are responsible for national revenue and target attainment for your assigned clients. • You ensure high visibility, effective servicing and strong client retention for Vodafone. • This typically involves more than 20 contacts per client at customers represented nationally and/or internationally. • You analyze customers and qualify contacts; identify and pursue new customer potential and fully exploit existing customer potential; and reduce churn. • You perform needs analyses for customers taking competitive conditions into account and handle customer tenders and projects that can last up to 24 months. • You independently manage appointment scheduling, sales visits, proposal preparation, follow-up, contract closure, evaluation of success or failure, post-sale customer support and customer win-back activities. • You coordinate national and international sales, service and technical teams, often working with dedicated legal contacts.
• A completed university degree. • 4 years of telecommunications experience and 4+ years of experience in business customer and solutions sales. • Good understanding of key financial concepts, IT and telecommunications environments, procurement practices and industry-specific aspects of corporate customers. • Team player with the ability to steer projects together with overlay functions in the right direction. • Proven success in networking across all levels of buying centers with industry leaders and strong relationship management skills. • Very good communication skills in German and English (C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
