📋 Description

• Support risk assessments and effectiveness testing of internal controls, ensuring adherence to key governance frameworks such as COSO and compliance of processes with internal and external regulations; • Support activities related to business controls, including the effectiveness of critical applications and the integrity of processed information; • Contribute to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance efforts, ensuring controls are well-designed, documented and aligned with regulatory requirements; • Assist in preparing clear, concise reports, tailoring the level of detail to the target audience (internal audit, executive management or board); • Analyze and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of action plans, monitoring timelines and the mitigation of residual risks; • Support continuous improvement initiatives by automating control testing and optimizing evidence and metrics; • Promote an internal controls culture through presentations, training sessions and workshops; • Act as a facilitator for external audits, ensuring the integrity and timeliness of information provided by the business areas.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related fields (diploma or proof of graduation); • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint; • Previous experience in Internal Controls, Risk Management and Internal or External Audit; • Practical knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX); • Solid knowledge of risk management frameworks; • Language skills: intermediate level in English and/or Spanish; • Postgraduate degree and/or certification in Internal Controls;
