📋 Description

• Report directly to the executive team throughout consulting assignments for financial risk management clients. • Manage a small team of professionals including both employees and client resources on customer engagements. • Identify, plan, coordinate, verify deliverables on customer engagements, assigning team members to deliverables. • Ensure that data and information related to projects are managed to expectations within strict budget and time constraints. • Collaborate with business unit and IT sponsors to establish project goals, criteria for success, and risk assessments. • Manage approved funding with business sponsors and IT. • Cooperate with architecture team members to ensure alignment of solutions with IT strategy and data governance. • Organize coordination of successful project delivery within various IT teams. • Create and manage a realistic and credible project plan with buy-in from resources involved and business sponsors. • Deliver status reports to stakeholders and facilitate appropriate communication among stakeholders and teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, or closely related field. • 3 years of work experience in a financial risk consultant role or closely related occupation. • Demonstrated ability applying mathematical concepts using SAS software in a financial services setting gained through 3 years of work experience. • Demonstrated knowledge of financial regulatory standards including IFRS 9, IFRS 17, and CECL, as well as related accounting practices, gained through 3 years of work experience. • Demonstrated knowledge of SAS reporting and management modules gained through 3 years of work experience.
