• Conduct end-of-day pill calculations by reviewing PDMP records, verifying prescription fill history, and tracking patient medication balances. • Handle incoming nurse line calls, document patient interactions, answer basic patient inquiries, and escalate clinical concerns when appropriate. • Process prescription prior authorizations and coordinate with insurance companies regarding medication approvals. • Assist with prescription preloading in the prescribing software. • Support basic chart preparation by copying and updating previous patient notes. • Update and maintain patient records within the EHR system. • Perform other administrative and clerical support tasks as needed. • Assist with patient follow-ups and support daily office workflow management. • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinic procedures. • Coordinate with providers and staff to support daily clinical operations.
• Healthcare, nursing, medical assistant, or other relevant clinical experience required. • Nursing background or experience preferred. • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare workflows. • Experience using EHR/EMR systems; experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) is highly preferred. • Experience working in a medical practice, clinic, or healthcare environment is preferred. • Must be proficient in speaking and writing English very clearly. • Must have relevant work experience. • Be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding [mandatory]. • Must be available for video meetings with your camera on (when needed).
