📋 Description

• Manage closing, controllership, audits, accounting and financial reporting for the Turkey Market • Prepare standalone and consolidated year-end financial statements under IFRS / Local GAAP • Collaborate with stakeholders, the Local Finance team and auditors to obtain audited financial statements • Coordinate with auditors, finance and business teams to resolve audit queries • Ensure timely completion of statutory and tax audits • Handle accounting and reporting for various entities • Review monthly and quarterly P&L and balance sheet accounting and reporting • Prepare and submit balance sheet schedules • Prepare timely business reports with accurate variance explanations • Support timely filing of tax returns, indirect tax filings, transfer pricing reports and segment P&Ls • Work on liquidation of legal entities • Participate in new initiatives and projects focused on process improvement and automation • Monitor open payables and open item management • Manage stakeholders and develop effective working relationships with business teams

🎯 Requirements

• Chartered accountant • Minimum 5 years of experience in a multinational company with global reporting responsibility • Experience in financial reporting, accounting, audits, book closing and controllership reporting • Strong knowledge of IFRS / Local GAAP • Strong knowledge of Turkish GAAP and tax regulations • Working knowledge of SAP • Proficiency in MS Excel • Excellent communication skills • Turkish and English language skills • Experience in a Big4 or similar large accounting firm environment preferred • Strategic thinking, effective communication, creativity and innovation, professional excellence, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
