📋 Description

• Champion a positive, proactive Food, Health & Safety culture • Provide expert guidance, coaching, and mentoring to managers, chefs and operational teams • Drive implementation of Food, Health & Safety policies, procedures, training, and safety initiatives across all locations • Lead and support investigations into accidents, allergen incidents, and alleged food poisoning cases • Identify root causes and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented • Analyse and report on safety performance data and identify trends • Work with teams to reduce recurrences and escalate emerging risks • Conduct regular location visits and promote best practice • Ensure timely closure of accident, audit and EHO action plans • Support new mobilisations to embed safety processes • Manage and embed the digital safety management system • Monitor system usage and address non-compliance or identified risks • Maintain and develop Food, Health & Safety training programmes • Ensure completion and recordkeeping of mandatory Food Safety, Health & Safety, and allergen training • Prepare presentations and present at internal and external meetings • Collaborate with the wider Food, Health & Safety team on documentation, training materials, projects, and initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) • Food Safety Level 4 (or equivalent) • Strong knowledge of food safety, allergen management and health & safety legislation • Experience conducting investigations, audits, and delivering coaching • Excellent communication and influencing skills with confidence to challenge and guide senior stakeholders • Experience within hospitality, contract catering or local authority • BSc or MSc in Environmental Health (or equivalent) (desirable) • Membership of IOSH, CIEH or IIRSM (desirable) • Experience supporting multi-site operations (desirable)
