📋 Description

• Coordinate and perform professional billing activities in accordance with the No Surprise Billing Act (NSBA) • Utilize Epic tools such as WQs, reports, and modules/applications for billing activities • Complete the good faith estimate process in Epic for scheduled self pay and uninsured patients • Communicate with patients and process payments prior to service date • Work with division, clinical, and scheduling teams on the Epic referral triage process • Secure out of network authorizations and single case agreements • Engage with physicians, clinical staff, and department administrators as a liaison • Other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience • Billing or Insurance experience (5 Years) • Communication skills • Computer Literacy • Confidential Data Handling • Medical Terminology • Office Equipment proficiency • Payment Collections experience • Telephone System knowledge
