📋 Description

• Prepares month-end close by completing assigned close tasks, analyzing P&L fluctuations and preparing journal entries • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and analysis • Responsible for accounting tasks related to current and future Asset Backed Securitization transactions specific to GL balance carve out work and documentation, intercompany reconciliation and billing and journal entry preparation • Assist with the completion of the monthly variance analysis used to support reporting monthly results to management • Collaborates with numerous teams to investigate and resolve issues timely and ensure financials are accurate • Helps lead the team to make sure tight deadlines are being met • Focused on continuous process improvement and developing efficient ways to support the business • Serves as a lead for the team and trains junior staff • Assist with additional duties or other ad hoc projects as assigned by the team

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance • At least 5 years of accounting experience • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS365 products • Strong analytical skills to define problems, gather relevant data, and draw actionable conclusions • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization and across departments • Experience working with Oracle, Salesforce and/or OneStream a plus • Experience in the telecommunications industry a plus
