📋 Description

• Perform full-cycle general ledger accounting activities for the corporate accounting team • Analyze financial data to identify issues and inconsistencies • Assist with internal and external financial reporting • Implement and maintain consistent accounting policies and procedures across business units • Drive change and contribute to automation improvements for manual processes • Record and manage general ledger transactions for software capitalization, payroll, prepaid expenses, debt, insurance, amortization, allocations, and intercompany activity • Record and manage operating expense transactions across business units • Research general ledger transactions in subledgers and with other teams • Own specified accounts and daily operational tasks, including allocations and benefits • Prepare roll-forward account analyses, income statement account analyses, and account reconciliations • Assist with financial statement support and SEC filing activities • Maintain accurate files and documentation in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices • Respond to accounting and financial inquiries by researching and interpreting financial data • Complete external audit requests by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing auditor information • Perform special projects and analysis as requested • Protect confidential financial and operational information • Report directly to the Corporate Senior Accounting Manager and collaborate across finance teams including financial planning, financial reporting, internal audit, tax, treasury, payroll, and company divisions

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Accounting • CPA, or equivalent • 5-7 years related experience within a publicly held global, complex company • Public accounting experience a plus • Experience within a digital media company or related field a plus • Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication • Pride in accuracy and attention to detail • Experience with leading ERPs; Oracle Fusion a plus • Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications, especially Excel • Exposure and experience in Sarbanes Oxley a plus • Experience with analytical technology such as Power BI and advanced Excel skills a plus • Motivated to improve processes by identifying efficiencies with and without the use of AI • CPA or equivalent qualification
