Beschreibung

• Act as a trusted partner to the VP of People and provide dependable support across People priorities • Serve as the first point of contact for employees and line managers on day-to-day people matters • Advise on policies, procedures, and processes • Own People operations and ensure employee lifecycle processes are smooth, accurate, compliant, and continuously improving • Coach and upskill line managers to lead teams effectively and handle people issues consistently • Review, update, and help develop legally compliant HR policies and documentation • Manage employee relations casework end to end, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and capability matters • Advise and coach managers through employee relations processes and escalate to the VP of People when necessary • Support recruitment and retention activity, including candidate pipeline management and hiring, interviewing, and onboarding best practice • Own cyclical People activities such as performance reviews, engagement surveys, and compensation and benefit reviews • Use people data and case trends to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements • Support high-performance, engagement, wellbeing, and culture initiatives • Build relationships across the business and become a trusted first point of contact • Identify opportunities to simplify, improve, or strengthen People policies, processes, systems, and ways of working

🎯 Anforderungen

• CIPD qualification (minimum Level 5), with a commitment to keeping employment law and best-practice knowledge current • Solid working knowledge across the core HR disciplines: employee relations, performance management, and the wider employee lifecycle • Sufficient experience to advise managers independently on most day-to-day matters • Strong, practical understanding of UK employment law and its application • Experience handling employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and capability matters • Experience preparing documentation and supporting or advising at hearings • Sound understanding of people operations and HRIS platforms, ideally BambooHR • Ability to oversee accurate, compliant employee lifecycle administration • Experience developing, reviewing, and applying HR policies and procedures • Ability to use people data insights to spot trends and translate findings into practical recommendations • Strong coaching, influencing, and communication skills • Ability to build trusted relationships and handle sensitive matters with discretion • Dependable, proactive, organised, detail-oriented, and able to exercise sound judgement • Ambition to grow a People career beyond the People Advisor remit
