📋 Description

• Advise clients on creating meetings, offsites and conferences • Understand event objectives and develop options suited to the occasion, participants and budget • Price proposals and explain available options • Resolve questions, follow up on qualified inbound enquiries and convert them into bookings • Source venues, hotels and suppliers and compare proposals • Use framework agreements and negotiate rates, terms and commissions on clients’ behalf • Agree services and timings with suppliers and coordinate delivery • Assess cost and schedule impacts when plans change and agree next steps • Track costs against budgets through to the final invoice • Maintain client relationships and discuss future events • Use event feedback to improve planning processes • Share product-support examples with the product team • Take responsibility for revenue and agreed quarterly targets • Help establish how eventfirst advises and supports clients in the UK

🎯 Requirements

• Some sales experience, including advising clients, explaining proposals or following up during decision-making • Experience coordinating events and working with venues or other suppliers • Native-level spoken and written English • Ability to advise clients, explain proposals and negotiate complex terms confidently • Willingness to learn new software and assess whether its results fit the client’s request • Ability to use proposal and event-budget figures to inform decisions • Ability to apply feedback to subsequent client conversations or events • Ability to work under a freelance contract arrangement because eventfirst does not have a UK legal entity • German, purchasing experience, event or CRM software familiarity, and sales experience at a hotel, venue, caterer, event agency or in-house events team are nice to have
