📋 Description

• Manage all aspects of 11:11’s cloud compute systems • Optimize, implement, and maintain cloud-based systems • Perform capacity planning, cluster provisioning, fleet management, alert monitoring, and escalations • Provide ownership and accountability for assigned cloud compute system responsibilities • Act as an escalation engineer for customer problems • Participate in the engineering on-call rotation after hours • Provide escalation support to Level I Cloud Operations Engineers • Manage cluster compute capacity, including hosts, CPU, and memory • Develop, track, and report KPIs for cloud system capacity, including CPU, memory, and storage • Respond accurately, timely, and professionally to escalated customer support tickets • Follow cloud compute systems management best practices • Deliver superior customer service and maintain professional relationships • Collaborate supportively with colleagues in accordance with the company’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values • Handle company data and information according to data handling agreements, procedures, and policies • Review and follow company policies, data privacy practices, compliance training, and policy acknowledgements • Perform additional duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or equivalent years of work experience required • 4+ years recent experience as a technical, hands-on, enterprise VMware administrator • VMware VCP or VCAP certification preferred • Extensive knowledge and experience using VMware management tools, including vCenter, vCloud Director, VMware Configuration Manager, and NSX preferred • Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions such as Veeam and Zerto preferred • Understanding of cloud-based infrastructure services such as BaaS, IaaS, and DRaaS • Experience working with global data center environments • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship • Ability to perform each essential function satisfactorily • Must handle company data and information according to company data handling agreements, work procedures, and policies
