📋 Description

• Define how 1Password brings emerging technologies to market • Lead technical validation for emerging products, strategic initiatives, and incubating technologies from early development through general availability • Partner with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Engineering to shape product direction • Turn field feedback into actionable product and go-to-market recommendations • Build repeatable discovery frameworks, demonstrations, technical messaging, reference architectures, and implementation guidance • Design and deliver technical enablement, including workshops, labs, certifications, and playbooks • Lead strategic customer engagements, private previews, beta programs, and early-adopter initiatives • Provide executive-level technical guidance and influence customer outcomes • Identify emerging market opportunities and represent 1Password through briefings, conferences, webinars, podcasts, customer events, and industry content • Mentor Solutions Engineers and lead cross-functional initiatives that accelerate adoption and scale successful practices • Collaborate across Product Management, Product Marketing, Enablement, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and strategic customers • Report to the Vice President, Global Solutions Engineering

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in customer-facing technical roles within enterprise B2B SaaS • Experience leading initiatives beyond an individual sales territory • Track record of translating emerging technologies into customer value, repeatable field motions, and product or go-to-market recommendations • Experience partnering with Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing, or related cross-functional teams • Strong executive communication, storytelling, and presentation skills • Deep understanding of modern identity architectures and developer or AI-powered workflows, including OAuth, OIDC, SCIM, APIs, MCP, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, AI agents, and modern cloud platforms • Experience with MEDDPICC or a similar enterprise sales methodology • Ability to work autonomously and influence without direct authority • Candidates must already be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada; 1Password does not offer work authorization, relocation assistance, or sponsorship/transferring of a visa • Up to 30% travel may be required
