3D Glass Solutions, Inc. is a manufacturer and foundry providing glass substrates and three-dimensional heterogeneous integration (3DHI) services for advanced semiconductor packaging. The company produces high-performance fused silica (HPFS) glass solutions designed to address thermal, electrical, and dimensional challenges for RF, high-performance computing, and photonic systems. Their substrates enable components such as filters, high-gain antennas, RF front-end modules, and automotive radar across frequencies from sub-6 GHz through ~500 GHz (including 70–150 GHz for automotive radar and 10–100 GHz for high-frequency filters). 3DGS serves commercial and defense manufacturers, academia, and government agencies.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives • Advise the CEO and Board on financial performance, growth initiatives, and strategic investments • Lead long-term financial planning, forecasting, and capital allocation • Support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships • Oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management • Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under U.S. GAAP • Develop financial models for business planning and investment decisions • Monitor financial metrics and recommend profitability and efficiency improvements • Manage banking relationships, financing activities, working capital, cash management, and liquidity planning • Evaluate financing options and capital structure for business expansion • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations • Oversee tax planning and compliance, internal controls, corporate governance, and enterprise risk management • Partner with operations, engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams to improve financial performance • Support pricing strategies, cost optimization, and operational efficiency • Develop KPIs and dashboards for executive decision-making • Build, mentor, and lead the finance and accounting organization • Drive digital transformation and implementation of financial systems and automation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field • Minimum 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience • At least 7 years in a senior executive finance role such as CFO, VP Finance, or Corporate Controller • Experience supporting rapidly growing companies and scaling operations • Lawful access to ITAR/EAR controlled information; must be a US Citizen, US Permanent Resident, or able to meet contract-specific licensure requirements • Experience in technology, advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, photonics, aerospace, or related high-tech industries preferred • MBA and/or CPA preferred • Strategic financial planning, financial modeling and valuation, budgeting and forecasting, corporate finance, treasury management, U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, tax strategy and compliance, and risk management experience • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics • Executive communication and presentation skills • Team leadership and organizational development experience • Experience with venture-backed or private equity-backed companies preferred • Experience with international business operations and multi-entity financial management preferred • Experience supporting fundraising, debt financing, or IPO readiness preferred • Knowledge of government contracts, grants, or export compliance is a plus • Ability to wear personal protective gear most of the day where applicable • Ability to tolerate prolonged periods of sitting or standing
