📋 Description

• Originate, structure and document/close Asset Based Lending opportunities throughout the organization, primarily through external bank channels • Generate new business volume within an assigned territory • Lead a deal team of dedicated professionals across the Fifth Third Commercial Bank platform • Pitch, structure and execute ABL transactions involving credit facilities from $10 million to more than $250 million • Establish and develop relationships with prospects, referral sources and internal partners, including Investment Bankers and Capital Markets teams • Participate in networking functions, business and community organizations • Prepare detailed written presentations for internal constituencies • Deliver verbal presentations to internal credit committees and answer questions • Lead junior ABL bankers in origination and transaction management from opportunity evaluation through closing and funding • Develop calling and business development practices to optimize resources and deliver strategic solutions • Manage and prioritize a pipeline of financing opportunities • Provide employees and internal partners with timely, candid and constructive performance feedback • Develop employees and provide opportunities that enhance career growth • Identify, assess, manage, monitor and report risks within the Bank's risk appetite

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of Asset-Based Lending or related financial services experience • Extensive knowledge of Asset Based Lending products and market trends • Knowledge of private equity and capital markets • Understanding and experience with credit analysis • Proven track record of originating and closing complex loan transactions • Demonstrable success originating and executing complex financial transactions • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills • Bachelor's degree required • MBA preferred • Ideally, concentration in Business, Finance or Accounting • Formal commercial bank/ABL credit training preferred
