📋 Description

• Administer retail international banking and sales of bank products for expatriate customers • Develop and maintain relationships with international corporate clients and prospects to grow revenue • Market, sell and retain customers for retail banking products and services • Call on corporate clients and individuals to sell bank products • Refer commercial business opportunities to Relationship Managers and follow up on referrals • Open accounts and explain U.S. banking customs and practices to international clients • Develop foreign-language explanatory literature and publish an international-client newsletter • Resolve customer and employee account questions, issues and problems • Perform seminars in native languages and English on retail and international services • Respond to international transaction requests, expatriate loans and accounts, currency and wire requests • Pursue workflow process improvements with internal teams and clients • Promote foreign exchange services to expatriates • Back up International Relationship Managers • Coordinate and support projects • Attend programs and seminars with economic development agencies, chambers of commerce and trade groups promoting foreign investment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required • Professional-level English and bilingual language skills, with Japanese required/preferred for this role • Ability to speak, read and write in a second language and use computer software in that language professionally • Typically 1 to 2 years of professional work experience dealing with financial services • Prior banking experience strongly preferred • Ability to type, edit and proof business correspondence and prepare reports • Strong sales ability • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment • SAFE Act registration required at employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
