📋 Description

• Develop strategic funding plans with the Head of Funding & Liquidity Risk and the Treasurer • Lead execution of strategic funding plans • Execute debt and equity capital markets transactions, including long-term debt issuance and preferred equity • Manage the share repurchase program • Quantify daily cash flow projections and ensure accuracy through assumptions, back-testing, and oversight • Quantify funding plans within long-term cash flow projections in coordination with Asset/Liability Management • Collaborate with line of business partners on emerging instant payment rails and establish funding and liquidity controls • Manage borrowing sources and maintain ample contingent borrowing capacities • Optimize collateral with Treasury Operations and the Investment Portfolio Team • Establish and maintain KRIs and early warning indicators for funding risk • Prepare funding risk materials for Executive Management • Identify, assess, manage, monitor, and report funding risks • Directly manage and develop Funding Risk staff, including performance feedback, career development, talent planning, recognition, and rewards • Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Liquidity Risk, and line of business partners

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics required • Typically requires 10 years or more of Treasury-related experience in at least one functional area: Asset/Liability, Funding/Liquidity, or Investment Portfolio • Strong analytical, modeling, and database skills and experience required • Experience projecting short- and long-term cash flows and overseeing and maintaining related assumptions • Ability to learn and become proficient in analytical and database management tools • Experience leading functional teams and projects required • Proven ability to independently manage multiple assignments and demonstrate initiative • Demonstrated proficiency in critical thinking, leadership, business acumen, relationship building, and teamwork • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
