📋 Description

• Design system and integration architectures for secure data exchange, APIs, applications, platforms, and operational services • Define interface patterns, system requirements, data flows, integration standards, and implementation guidance • Evaluate architecture alternatives for security, scalability, reliability, performance, and operational supportability • Coordinate with architects, developers, cybersecurity engineers, and business stakeholders during design and delivery • Produce architecture diagrams, interface specifications, integration plans, and technical decision records • Support the Department of Veterans Affairs Cybersecurity Operations and Services Enterprise program

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience • Eight or more years of systems engineering, integration architecture, software architecture, or enterprise application integration experience • Demonstrated experience with APIs, integration patterns, data flows, cloud or hybrid architectures, and secure system design • Experience translating business and technical requirements into implementable architecture and interface specifications • Strong architecture documentation, analysis, and stakeholder communication skills • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
