📋 Description

• Resolve all aspects of 1st- and 3rd-party injury claims of low to moderate complexity for personal lines and commercial claims • Manage claims efficiently and effectively to appropriate resolution with minimal supervision • Handle liability injury claims, including coverage, liability, and damage concerns • Handle Medical Payment, PIP, Uninsured Motorists, Under-insured Motorists, and Auto-Death Benefit claims • Assist with first notice of loss calls and participate in the department phone queue as needed • Make coverage determinations and conduct complex investigative work • Advise customers on the appropriate course of action related to coverage issues • Make liability determinations based on gathered evidence • Evaluate subrogation potential and initiate notices of subrogation • Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims with insureds, claimants, or representatives • Communicate pertinent case facts to supervisors, managers, or committees when appropriate • Participate in employee resource groups, volunteering, onboarding, relationship-building, and other culture-building activities • Travel as needed for divisional, team, and other in-person meetings • Fulfill business needs, including investing extra time and helping other teams

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of Casualty claims experience, or 2+ years of claims experience including 1+ year of Commercial claims experience • High School diploma/GED or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry • Required to acquire and/or maintain multiple state-specific Adjuster’s Licenses within the first 90 days of employment and/or job transfer • 3+ years of Casualty claims handling experience preferred as a differentiator • Prior experience with Commercial policies • BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area is preferred • Flexibility to work any shift from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the employee’s time zone, including evenings and/or weekends • Ability to complete training and perform the job remotely • Outstanding interpersonal and computer navigation abilities • Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously • Excellent communication skills with people from varied backgrounds • Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the United States • Mobilitas does not provide visa sponsorship; applicants must not require immigration support now or in the future
