📋 Description

• Serve as Subject Matter Expert on large global infrastructure projects • Partner with architects and engineers on DevOps methodologies, standards, and cloud-based solutions • Promote and guide teams on Agile development and Agile infrastructure principles • Advise on Infrastructure as Code, provisioning, continuous integration, delivery and deployment, and test automation • Identify future cloud-based technology growth options to support organizational maturity • Plan, design, implement, and educate teams on DevOps tools, practices, AWS, and GCP platforms • Lead efforts to identify and remove infrastructure and system-level impediments limiting productivity and quality • Identify and implement process improvements supporting DevOps methodologies and cloud usage • Track DevOps adoption and provide feedback to teams and organizations • Direct and design solutions for infrastructure, security, deployment, scaling, metrics, and IT operations • Conduct technology reviews and internal audits to ensure solutions meet business and security needs • Work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or an equivalent level of work experience • 8+ years of experience overseeing mission-critical enterprise-level systems • 8 years of experience working with virtual machines, virtual networking, and storage using third-party infrastructure • Experience with Infrastructure as Code implementation and developing CloudFormation templates • Production experience developing and employing GCP and/or AWS cloud services • Strong understanding of IAM, networking, compute, storage, KMS, and encryption in transit • 5+ years’ experience administering and troubleshooting Linux-based systems • 2+ years’ experience with Docker • Broad experience developing cloud migration solutions • Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Nginx, Apache HTTP, Jetty, and Tomcat • Ability to work through the full project lifecycle, including discovery, analysis, architecture, design, documentation, building, migration, automation, and readiness • Ability to configure and install relational databases • Experience installing and configuring monitoring and metrics collection solutions • Experience with Nagios, Cacti, Ganglia, CollectD, Graphite, and/or NewRelic • Load and performance testing and analysis experience • Scripting experience with Python and Bash • AWS Certification a plus • Background and drug screen required upon offer • Regular and reliable attendance is essential
