📋 Description

• Participate in a cross-functional Agile team of testers, developers, and business users • Develop and support transactional websites integrated with complex back-office legacy applications • Deliver comprehensive testing within Agile sprint timeframes • Edit and execute automated test scripts using automation tools • Manage defects, maintain defect records, and perform root cause analysis • Analyze and review data, test results, and documents for consistency and accuracy • Support QA team members and ensure effective use of testing resources • Apply risk-based testing to identify appropriate testing levels for initiatives • Collaborate proactively with project team roles to support quality and initiative success • Maintain expertise in testing methodologies and strategies • Design story-level and acceptance tests that convey business rules and code intent • Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, acceptance testing, and test scripts • Work with business partners on User Acceptance Testing and create UAT plans • Contribute to continual improvement of QA standards, processes, and procedures • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field or equivalent experience • 5-8 years of experience in system-level QA Testing • 5 years of experience in an Agile environment • Working knowledge of Web application testing and/or Web service testing • Familiarity with all stages of the SDLC • Software Quality Assurance testing experience including System, Integration, Regression, Performance and User Acceptance Testing • Understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD) and its application to Agile testing • Deep knowledge of creating test strategy and test case documents • Ability to write and understand basic SQL queries for data verification and test data setup • Experience with testing tools such as QA Symphony qTEST, Borland Micro Focus Silk Central, HP Quality Center, Test Director, or similar • Experience using test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, FitNesse, TestNG, or Selenium • Experience with API tools such as SOAPUI, Postman, or similar • Experience with defect management tools such as Jira or Bugzilla
