📋 Description

• Build cloud infrastructure foundations including accounts and projects, networking, DNS and IPAM, identity and RBAC, quotas, and policy • Own Kubernetes cluster lifecycle, including provisioning, upgrades, addons, Gateway API, service mesh, and zero-trust connectivity • Maintain consistent infrastructure patterns across commercial, government, secure, classified, and disconnected environments • Enable disconnected deployment through registry and artifact mirroring, hermetic builds, no-egress artifact sourcing, upstream-free bootstrapping, and out-of-band promotion • Define Spacetime packaging and Kubernetes configuration approaches using Helm, rendering, or custom controllers • Build delivery workflows using GitOps reconciliation with Argo CD, IaC orchestration, drift detection, OPA policy gates, and environment promotion • Own fleet-scale change mechanics including module and chart versioning, staged rollouts, migration paths, and deprecation • Operate infrastructure, including availability, upgrades, capacity, observability, backup and recovery, security maintenance, and incident response • Partner with product and domain engineers to turn requirements into reusable self-service primitives • Manage project priorities, timelines, and deliverables while designing, developing, testing, and maintaining core software

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience • 8+ years of experience with production infrastructure or distributed systems • Strong software engineering fundamentals • Ability to automate infrastructure in code instead of orchestrating it by hand • Experience with AWS or GCP • Experience with infrastructure-as-code • Experience with cloud networking • Experience with Kubernetes infrastructure • Experience packaging and delivering software onto Kubernetes • Understanding of tradeoffs between templating, rendering, and controller-based approaches • Must meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements: qualify as a U.S. person, be eligible to access export-controlled information without export authorization, or be eligible and reasonably likely to obtain authorization • Export-control eligibility includes U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylee status, or other qualifying authorization circumstances
